The Japanese corporation Sumida, founded in 1956, is engaged in the production of inductors. The Sumida product range includes more than 31,000 items: inductors, chokes, coils of quadrature detectors; filters, mains filters; variable inductance coils, intermediate frequency and radio frequency conversions; miniature transformers for powering LCD displays, DC/DC converters, modems and ports; isolating (decoupling) transformers for local area networks, LAN, fax modem transformers, inverting transformers; inductance chip and assembly chip.
All products are manufactured outside Japan in various regions of Asia and in Mexico. The products are certified according to the ISO 9000 standard.
