Texas Instruments is the world's third manufacturer of semiconductor components after Intel and Samsung, the second after Qualcomm manufacturer of chips for cell phones, the first in the production of digital signal processors (DSP) and analog semiconductors. The company also produces chips for broadband modems, computer peripherals, electronic household devices and RFID tags.
